No one, her

Of course it is her.

Her.

Who else would it be?

She never tires.

She.

If she tired, who would do it?

No one.

No one.

Of course the house is clean

Of course the supper is made

Of course the roses are tended

Of course the school clothes are bought

Of course.

Of course.

Why would they not be?

They.

Who offer a shoulder.

They.

Who wake before the house does.

They.

They.

None other than her.

Her.

With the short skirt.

Her.

With the thigh high boots.

Her

With the headscarf.

Her.

In the oversized sweaters.

Her.

Her.

With aching feet.

With screaming back.

And raw hands.

And chipped nails.

And tired eyes.

And.

And.

Heavy heart.

Of course it is her.

No one.

She is no one.

Yet we all know her.

Her.

Her.
