Myself again

Swells rise
From far away
they travel
And rise without care.
I am here.

A journey of great hardships.
Yet still, they rise
they travel
Through typhoons without care.
I am tiring.

The ocean bed is growing
More shallow then before.
yet still, they rise
Unaware of the danger.
I am numb.

Then the land rises
Larger then the swells
Ever could.

It is inevitable
yet still, they rise.
I am scared.

The swells leap
As high as they can
In a futile show of strength.
they crash.
I am unrecognizable.

They recede from their defeat
I can not.
The journey took its toll.
I am changed
Yet more myself again.
